All's well that ends well...

I am happy to report that my dad is now at home, resting comfortably and on some new BP meds. The doc decided at the last minute to go ahead and discharge him; he will continue the meds given to him until he has a follow up appointment next week, in which case they will evaluate what he's on and make any adjustments. My dad has been having issues with his blood pressure being a bit high lately and it was this that caused the mini-stroke. We are very thankful that this was not more serious and that it is easily treatable at this point. Once he's recovered a bit more, his doctor will also work with him on a new diet and exercise regimen as well that will help to keep his BP low in addition to the meds.

Thanks to everyone for all of their prayers, well-wishes, and support. It means the world to me to know how loved I am and my family. A huge weight has been lifted from my heart and now that everything is fine, I finally feel like I can cry. So with that said, I have some catharsis I need to do...

Love to you all,
