Mother's Day 2010

This was how Sybilla’s godmother phrased it to me when she spoke of the joys of motherhood. And out of all the quotes about motherhood, it is the only one that has really stuck with me.  I am above and beyond blessed to be a mother and to have a mother present in my life.

To all my mothers, whether they be my "mother" through biology, marriage, or friendship, my heartfelt love and admiration to you.

And to my darling daughter, thank you for allowing me to be part of the best creation I've ever made!
